Who Am I

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when their right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”- Marilyn Monroe

Hello, I’m Cassandra. An almost college graduate A college graduate.

For the first time in my life, I’m unsure of where I’m going. That’s scary and exciting all at the same time. I’m excited to see what life has in store for me.

I majored in marketing in college. What brought me into the world of marketing? I have always had an interest in the psychology of what drives a person to go out and impulsively buy products. I’m a people person and can sit all day and watch the way people act. I love the idea of convincing people to buy products that they do not know they want yet. I believe the most important thing in marketing is connecting and building a relationship with the customers. The use of new technology and social media has increased my love for marketing.

I’m a people person. I love to make people laugh. Why be stuffy all the time? Just laugh.

My friends and family have made me into the person who I am today. That’s a good thing, I promise.

I love to curl up and read a good book. I love to learn about new technology, you can call me an early adopter (but I cannot actually afford to buy these new technology, not yet anyways). Writing is a passion of mine. When I feel like it, I like to be a photographer (although I not really good at it, but I am trying).

I want to travel and go on new adventures. I even want to start running again, eventually run my first 5K and work my way up to a full marathon.

I am a hopeless romantic at heart (and even already planned out my wedding. Shhh,  don’t tell that to my future husband just yet).

Overall, that is me in a nutshell. Like it or hate it, this is me and I am who I am.

Welcome to my world. Welcome to my life.

  1. Welcome to the blogging world. I pretty much started my blog when I graduated from college as well. Check it out! It’s become less about the process of coping in the real world and more about how I interact with it. I’ll def. look forward to reading your posts!

  2. Wow! You sound so much like me! Good luck with all your dreams and passions! (and I totally relate to the wedding planning and running…I ran my first marathon last year 1 year after graduating college and now have the man of my dreams.) Life is good.

    • Thank you! Congrats on find the man of your dreams and running.

In the future I hope to get into wedding planning. And I plan on running a 5k sometime next year.

  3. Hey lady! I feel your pain! Reading your first entry reminded me of my time at University (I’m Canadian) and how fast it comes and goes. It’s a scary world out there so get used to the fear but use it to propel you to the next level.
So what’s next? Do you have a job lined up already or what?
Or will you travel to Europe or even Canada before you settle on a job?? 😉
    All the best!

    • Thank you.

I’m just looking for jobs right now. I would like to go to Europe, but I’ll save up money for that trip so I can have a fabulous trip to Paris, London, Spain.
